Dan Kaufman serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Transformation Officer for GameStop, a role he was appointed to in May of 2019.
As CTO, Dan is responsible for driving the organization forward by overseeing the company’s GameStop Reboot transformation program and working closely with the executive leadership team to drive change management and ensure the initiative’s overall success.
Previously, Dan served as executive vice president, chief legal and administrative officer and corporate secretary for GameStop. He oversaw all company human resources and legal matters and worked closely with other senior leaders and the Board of Directors.
He joined GameStop in 2005, following its acquisition of Electronics Boutique Holding Corporation (EB Games), continuing in his role as senior vice president and general counsel for the merged companies. Dan joined EB Games in 2002.
Prior to this, Dan served as vice president and general counsel for Zany Brainy, a publicly traded specialty retail chain. Before entering the retail industry, he practiced corporate and real estate law at several large law firms in New York and Delaware.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of Five Below (NASDAQ: FIVE).
